February 23, 1944 - January 29, 2016

April D. Gerevics, 71, of Lansing, OH died Friday January 29, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH following a long battle with Lupus. She was born February 23, 1944 in Belmont County, a daughter of the late Merritt O. and Daphene F. Browning Christy, Sr.
April was an employee of the former G.C. Murphy Co. in Wheeling, a member of Lansing United Methodist Church, a 1962 graduate of Bridgeport High School and a huge BullDog fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Merritt Christy, Jr. and Noel Christy.
Surviving are her husband, Mike Gerevics; her children, Michele (Daniel) Bauer, Michael A. Diana Diaz- Blamey, Chris (Beverley) Blamey, Dawn R. (Tony Pacifico) Blamey, Mark R. Gerevics, Marissa N. Gerevics, Deanna Kinney, Teri Scheid and Michael (Heather) Gerevics; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Christy.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-8 pm at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950 where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Mr. Richard Rothermund officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
