Cheryl “Kaye” Goudy, 73, of Powhatan Point, OH died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born June 28, 1944 in Centerville, OH a daughter of the late Delbert and Florence Wallace Ward.
Kaye was a former Nurses Aid at Shadyside Care Center and a member of Amity United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Goudy; a brother, Jerry Ward; a sister, Wanda Mancini.
Surviving are a daughter, Shawn (Jerry) Swegard; two sons, Garren (Hollee) Goudy both of Powhatan Point, Donnie (Billie) Goudy of Bellaire, OH; three sisters, Jean Stewart of Powhatan Point, Mattie (Melvin) Bigler of Shadyside, Judy (Dave) Matusik of Bellaire; three brothers, Bill (Connie) Ward of Beallsville, OH, Dick (Rube) Ward of Woodsfield, OH, Jr. (Melba) Ward of Beallsville; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-8 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, OH 43942 where funeral services will be held on Monday at 12 noon with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
