Daria Zguta 92, of Wheeling, WV, Formerly of Parma, Ohio passed away October 5, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 10, 1925 in the Ukraine, a daughter of the late Reverend Paul and Helena Strilbycka Shymanky.

She was a member of the St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church, Parma, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Zguta MD. and a son, George Zguta.

Surviving is her daughter, Hali Exley and her husband Paul of Wheeling, WV, two granddaughters, Jessica Hoover and her husband Joe of Sewickley, PA and Christina Perkinson and her husband Kyle of Lewis Center, Ohio two great grandsons, Brayden and Easton Hoover.

Baba loved to embroider, color traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs and making pierogies. She was a loving and active member of her church.

There will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at 11am Monday at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church, Parma, Ohio.

Burial follows at St. Andrew Ukrainian Cemetery, Parma, Ohio.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of the Good Shepherd Nursing Home for their exceptional care given to Daria.
