I am shocked to hear about Gary’s passing. I have many great memories of growing up in the neighborhood playing pick-up baseball, basketball and football with Gary. As many have stated, Gary helped everyone in the town, especially the neighborhood where I know he kept a good eye on my dad until he passed. Dad also really like Gary. We lost a good man…I know he is in a better place with people who love him. See you one day soon my friend.
Gary has been a lifelong friend since he was 5 years old. He cared about his village and loved all his neighbors and friends. He had a heart of gold and checked on his neighbors, and we all watched him and loved him. Gladys and I are absolutely still in shock over his passing. He called my mom, his “mom” after his beloved mother, and neighbor, passed. Gary is in a wonderful place now, in the arms of the Lord.
Condolences and prayers Rest In Peace, Gary.
Donna and Jimmy we are so sorry to hear about Gary. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim and Monica
