Katherine Joyce Wolf, 76 of Wheeling, WV died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her home.

She was born January 16, 1942 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late John C. and Margaret (Young) McLeod.

Joyce was retired from the Federal Government and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellaire, Ohio. She loved roller skating, gardening, bowling and golfing.

As a Navy wife, she resided in China Lake, CA, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Washington, DC, Frankfurt and Munich, Germany, San Diego, CA and Wheeling, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristel Mitchell, one sister, Jean and brothers, Bud and Norman.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald L. Wolf, (Retired USN Chief Petty Officer), whom she married on July 20, 1963, sons, Scott (Terri) Wolf of Waldorf, MD and Shannon (Stephanie) Wolf of Easton, MD, son-in-law, Dennis Mitchell of Malden, MO and three sisters, Betty, Ann and Alice. Also six grandchildren, David, Cody (Kassie), Shane, Kaitlyn, Merceyde, Reagan and two great granddaughters, Bailee and Krista.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 11 am until time of services at 1 pm with Pastor Connie Quinn officiating. Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.
