Lannie Heatherington, 72 of Shadyside, Ohio died Wednesday March 28, 2018 at Country Club Retirement Campus in Bellaire, Ohio.

He was born April 15, 1945 a son of the late Newell and Ann (Myzk) Heatherington in Wheeling WV.

Lannie served in the U.S. Navy and was a Catholic by faith.

He loved fishing and making his own fishing lures. He was married to Charlotte (Patterson) Heatherington on June 25, 1967 and spent 51 wonderful years together.

He worked for International Harvester as a press operator for over thirty years.

Lannie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kennon Heatherington.

He is survived by his wife, his children, Randy (Michelle) Heatherington of Ravenswood, WV, Scott Heatherington of Bellaire, OH and Mary (David) Habig of Shadyside, OH.

In addition he is survived by eight grandchildren, Riley, Hannah, Shawn, Justice, Destiny, Angel, Samantha and Jacob.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shadyside, Ohio on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 11 am with Fr. Saprano officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately after at the church.
