Lloyd “Boob” Burian died October 28, 2016 at West Virginia University after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born December 10, 1948 a son of the late Lloyd and Palma (Aspen) Burian in Bellaire, Ohio.

Lloyd was a coal miner for over thirty years and worked for American Energy in the Century Mine.

He loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed woodworking.

He married Vicki (Hartley) Burian on May 20, 2011.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Alana Rejonis.

He is survived by his wife and his children, Deanna Caldwell of Powhatan Point, Ohio, Shayla (Brandon) Shane of Martins Ferry, Ohio, and two step sons, Jason (Gabrielle) Brunner of Clarington, Ohio and Garren Brunner of Bellsville, Ohio as well as Dylen.

In addition he is survived by his brother Gary (Beverly) Burian, three grandchildren, Taylor Shane, Joel Shane and Abby Caldwell as well as two step grandchildren, Kaydence and Jaxon Brunner.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes – 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio on Monday October 31, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

Funeral service will be held at 8 pm that evening with Rev. James Hoff officiating.
