Dollie Krajnyak, 92, of Bellaire, OH died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Cumberland Point Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born August 11, 1925 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Sam Mrkobrada and Maggie Berlitch Calinger-Mrkobrada.

Dollie was a retired LPN at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire and a member of St. John Catholic Church, Catholic Women’s Club, Catholic Daughters, volunteer at St. John’s Cafeteria and sang in the church choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Krajnyak in 1980; brothers, Tom, Joseph and Walter Calinger; sisters, Ann Resanovich and Barbara Cicciarella.

Surviving are her children, Barbara McGannon of Medina, OH, Suzi Krajnyak, Paul (Susie) Krajnyak of St. Clairsville and Maureen (Jim) Gentile of Lincoln, NE; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Amanda, Dominick, Ashley, Dominic, Nick and Jamie; four great-grandchildren, Margaux, Ainsley, Hank and Angelo.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-8 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 with a Vigil Service at 7:45 pm.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 am at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Heusel as celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire.
