Please accept my deepest and sincerest sympathies at this time of your great loss. Mr. Bethel was my 7th Grade Home Room Teacher at Mason High School, Mason, Ohio in 1951 but he was far more than that. He was one of the best friends I ever had. He not only taught me at school, but he introduced me to The Lord, Jesus Christ through The Mason Methodist Church and he helped me through some of the darkest times of my Teen-aged life… teaching me character and ettiquette and many of the arts of associating with other people. Mr. Bethel never knew a stranger as far as I could tell and he always had time to give to whoever needed him. Because of Bob Bethel this world is a much brighter and better place and I have a hunch that he enriched thousands of other lives besides mine as well. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart and my prayers are with you all at this time.

Please accept my sincerest sympathy in your loss. Mr. Bethel was my science teacher in Junior High. He was always so kind to everyone, and his gentle methods of teaching helped me learn to much about science. My son delivered the Times Leader to him years later, and again, Mr. Bethel showed his kindness and generosity to my son. I know that he will me missed by so many people. May he rest in peace. He will be kept in prayers as will his family.
