Russell “Bud” Williams, 77, of 56860 Wegee Road, Shadyside, OH died June 14, 2018, at his home.
Bud was born January 8, 1941, in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late George and Helen Heath Williams
He was retired from NACCO #1 Mine, Powhatan Pt, OH, a member of the American Legion Post #521 Shadyside, OH, he attended the Shadyside Nazarene Church and was an Army veteran.
Preceding him in death was a brother, David Williams, and three sisters, Jean Brown, Sandra Davis, and Linda Kay Brown.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Carol (Taylor) Williams, three sons, Todd R.( Sue) Williams of Jacobsburg OH, Gregory Williams of Shadyside, OH, and Brian (Dawn) Williams of Bellaire,OH, a daughter, Mindy Williams of Neffs, OH, a brother, Steve (Cindy) Williams of Shadyside, OH and a sister, Lois (Carl Cruise) Martin of Shadyside, OH, 7 grandchildren, Brandon (Morgan) Heath, Taylor (Myles Bettinazzi) Heath, Katie Heath, Brian (Heather) Williams, Lindsay Williams, Daniel Williams and John Sword, four great grandchildren, Harrison, Mylie, Cameron and Chloe
Family and friends will be received 2 -8 pm Monday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday with Reverend Doctor Dennis Hancock officiating.
Burial follows at Concord Cemetery, Centerville, Ohio.
Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct graveside services.
