Thomas E. “Peavine” Pawlaczyk, 65 of Powhatan Point, Ohio died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Valley Hospice South’s Liza’s Place in Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was born March 16, 1951 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late John R. and Carrie F.Martin Pawlaczyk.

Tom was a retired coal miner with the former Consol # 3 Mine in Dilles Bottom, Ohio, a Nazarene by faith and a member of the Powhatan Point Sportsman’s Club.

Surviving are his caregiver and companion, Brenda Creech, four daughters, Michelle (Donald) Rainey and Crystal (Randy) Talbot both of Clarington, Ohio, Andrea Pawlaczyk of Beaver, Pennsylvania and Elizabeth Pawlaczyk of Neffs, Ohio, one sister, Joyce Spano of Bellaire, Ohio and four brothers, John Pawlaczyk of Bellaire, Ohio, Richard Pawlaczyk of Powhatan Point, Ohio, Edmund Pawlaczyk of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Josep Pawlaczyk of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio on Friday from 11 am until time of services at 12 Noon with Pastor Cheryl Lawson officiating. Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.
