Albert Dobrovich, 95, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away Tuesday October 12, 2021.
He was born February 5, 1926 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late John and Dala (Sirola) Dobrovich.
He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire, Ohio. Albert was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and was a part time TV repair man. Albert served in the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) and was stationed in Germany during WWII.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bridget (Connors) Dobrovich, 2 sons: Patrick Dobrovich and Michael Dobrovich, grandson: Gabriel Smith, 3 brothers: John Dober, James Dobrovich and Tony Dobrovich, sister: Dorothy Putinsky, and son in law, Todd Knutsen.
He is survived by his 10 children: Mary Margaret (Allen) McGilton, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Cynthia Dobrovich of Bellaire, Ohio, Katie (Frank) Figaretti, of Wheeling, WV, Jeannie Koch of Martins Ferry, Ohio, John (Lori) Dobrovich, of Bridgeport, Ohio, Therest Knutsen, of Shadyside, Ohio, Dolly Rykowski, of Bellaire, Ohio, Nora (Brian) Wick, of Bellaire, Ohio, Rita Dobrovich, of Ash Flat, AR, Thomas (Heidi) Dobrovich of Dillionvale, Ohio, 26 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Sunday October 17 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio from 2-8pm . Funeral liturgy with Mass at the St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire, Ohio at 11am with Father Dan Heusel as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
