Alfred L. Battistelli, 93 of Bellaire, Ohio died Monday, February 11, 2019 at his home.

He was born August 5, 1925 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Alfonso and Vera Santavicca Battistelli.

Alfred was a retired heavy equipment operator for the former Power City Heating and Plumbing and the owner of the Five Ds and A Dot. He was an accomplished accordion player for seventy-six years.
Alfred was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and the Sons of Italy Lodge 754 both of Bellaire, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Carmen A. Battistelli and his brother, Benny C. Battistelli.

Surviving are two sons, Geary M Battistelli of Martins Ferry, Ohio and Dante (Lori) Battistelli of Bellaire, Ohio, and his companion, Mercedes Lucas. Also five grandchildren, Alfonse Battistelli, Angela (Shane) Melean, Dominic Battistelli, Alexis Battistelli, Kara Battistelli and his former wife, Olga Battistelli.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Friday from 1 pm until time of services at 4 pm with Fr. Daniel Heusel. Entombment in the Guardian Angel Mausoleum at the Mt Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
