So sorry for your loss. I worked with Bernie the whole time he was at Bellaire. He was a very caring person, and took good care of the staff. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family in this difficult time.

What can you really say about a such wonderful man! Him and wife took me in at 15 years old because I had no place to go! Treated me just like one of there kids. If it hadn’t been for him no telling where or what would of happened to me ! That’s when I started having good memories of my life when he took me in. He was one of the funniest, honorable person I’ve ever met to this day have had the pleasure of knowing! As far as I’m concerned he’s my hero and always will be! He told me when we all lived in Weirsdale Florida never leave my boots outside because of snakes! The next morning when I was putting them on there was a snake (rubber) in my boot!! That was 48 years ago and STILL to this day I always check my boots before I put them on!! I wear a lot of boots so I think of him a lot! It was a honor knowing him and the whole family! There special places for people like him in heaven reserve for only the best! I hope I can see again one day! All my love to the family. I sent something special for him,I think everyone will understand it! Love Diane/Sunshine

I loved Uncle Bernard, He was a wonderful man and a great example to so many. Always doing the right thing, I fell in love with him in the 60’s when we moved to Miami, from LA… He was so handsome and could do anything… RIP Uncle B, you have earned your wings. <3 Say hello to everyone in heaven, Mom, Dad, Aunt Helen… Miss them all <3
