Bertie Elizabeth Rushman, 86, of Bellaire, passed away on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, in Glen Dale, WV

She was born on January 21, 1935 in Reader, WV., the daughter of the late Raymond and Lydia (Lancaster) Glasscock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F, Rushman; a daughter, Bertie (Donley) Underwood of Bellaire; a sister, Clara Ellen Young; and a brother, Paul Glasscock.

Bertie was Christian by faith and attended The Faith Fellowship Church in Bellaire, OH. She was a Girl Scout Leader and member of the American Motorcycle Association.

She is survived by two daughters, Candy (Wesley) Cottrell of St. Clairsville, OH, Lori (Timothy) Howells of Jacobsburg, OH; a brother, Willard Glasscock of Florence, KY; two sons, John (Brenda) Rushman of Bellaire, OH, Timothy (Pamela) Rushman of Bellaire, OH; as well as many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Friday April 16, 2021 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 441 37th Street, Bellaire OH 43947 where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday with Pastor Bill Marinelli officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Bellaire, OH.
