Betty Jean (Boop)  Tamburin, 84, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020, at her home in Shadyside, OH.

She was born March 4, 1936 in Monroe County, a daughter of the late Paul and Sarah Howell.

Betty was a retired employee of Ormet Corp. She enjoyed photography, painting, and making birdhouses. Betty was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother in-law. She was a great inspiration to many people. Betty was also a Christian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only son, Joseph P. Tamburin, her borthers Paul, Dale, Ray, Charles (Buss) James, and Robert Howell; her sisters, Nancy Rothacher, Ruth Trembly, Eileen Ledney, Linda Davis and Mary Howell.

Surviving are her grandson Jesse J. (Soeliz) Tamburin of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughter, Chelsea R. Tamburin of Schenectady, NY,  great granddaughter, Valentina Tamburin also of Las Vegas, NV and her daughter-in-law, Pam Tamburin, of Shadyside, OH,

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
