Carolyn Amadio, 70, passed away suddenly at her home in Shadyside, Ohio. She was born in Bellaire, Ohio on October 5, 1949 to Henry and Mary (DeFelice) Amadio, who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Shadyside High School, Ohio University and West Virginia University. Carolyn spent her entire career with the Bellaire City Schools as a teacher. She enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her friends.
Carolyn is survived by her brother, Phil (Julie) Amadio of Northwood, Ohio, aunt, Jean DeFelice of Peabody, Massachusetts and goddaughter, Bre Lappert. She is also survived by Michael and Missy Lappert and their daughters, Miranda Panetta and Bre, whom Carolyn loved and considered family.
Per Carolyn’s wishes graveside services will be held at the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 10 am with Fr. Timothy J. Shannon officiating.
