Charles William Mellott Jr. 70 of Bellaire, Ohio died Sunday August 30, 2020 peacefully in his sleep.
He was born May 14, 1950 a son of the late Charles and Mary (Clark) Mellott Sr. in Bellaire, Ohio.
Charles was an Army veteran and loved to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol (Spears) Mellott and two sisters, Louise Ansart and Leona Secrest.
He is survived by his children, Kerri, Johnson of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Charles Shunk of Wheeling, WV and Alicia (Doug) Gallaher of Shadyside, Ohio.
In addition he is survived by his siblings, Della Perzanowski of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Ann Shunk of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Cheryl (Joe) Davis of Elm Grove, WV, Penny (Ron) Ruskin of Bridgeport, Ohio and Herman Mellott of Adena, Ohio; along with 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Final disposition will be held at the convenience of the family.
