Claudia Miller, 64 of Bellaire, Ohio died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born June 8, 1954 in Wheeling, West Virginia the daughter of the late Stephen Vincent and Theresa Roseanne McMahon Halicky.
Claudia was a former employee of Mehlman’s Cafeteria in St. Clairsville, Ohio and a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.
She was a tomboy at heart, playing football and baseball with her brothers and friends. She loved reading and sports, including the Steelers and Pirates.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Miller and John Miller both of Bellaire, Ohio; her brothers, Stephen (Rebecca) Halicky of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Robert “Fox” (Cathy) Halicky of Bellaire, Ohio. Also two grandchildren, Michael (Jessica Cork) Miller of Bellaire, Ohio, Samantha (Anthony Carkhuff) Miller of Martins Ferry, three great grandchildren, Camdyn Miller, Cylus Miller, Talitha Carkhuff, the love of her life Vince DiFabrizio and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 am at the St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Heusel, as Celebrant.
Vigil services will be held on Thursday at 7:45 pm in the funeral home.
