Colletta Sbrockey, 91 of Shadyside, Ohio died Friday June 4, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born October 25, 1929 a daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (Sinko) Potetz in Shadyside, Ohio.

Colletta was a graduate of Shadyside High School and attended St. Mary Catholic Church.

She worked as a corrections officer for Youth Services System.

She loved kids and animals and enjoyed the company of many.

Colletta was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Julius Sbrockey, and her siblings, Theresa Holler Francis, Ann DeVendra, John, Max and Marie Potetz.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Leonard) Scott of Shadyside, Ohio and Peter Paul Sbrockey of Wheeling, WV.

In addition she is survived by 3 grandchildren, Julia Scott, Kristian (Holly) Scott and Dustin (Becky) Scott, 6 great-grandchildren, Tessa (Kyle) Joos, Carli Littleton, Ava Scott, Isabella Scott, Geneva Scott and Lydia Scott; as well as one great-great grandson Maverick Joos.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, special friends, Melanie and Doug Campbell and her cats Prissy and Bug Eye.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Ave, Shadyside, Ohio 43947 on Wednesday June 9, 2021 from 2 pm until 8 pm.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 10, 2021 at 10 am.

Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, in Bellaire, Ohio.
