Donald W. “Don” Gill, 91 of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Bellaire, Ohio.

He was born October 9, 1927 in Canton, Ohio a son of the late Joseph and Emma Dvorak Gill.

Don was a retired coal miner with the former North American Coal Corporation’s Number 4 and 7 Mines, a member of the Bellaire Eagles FOE 371 and American Legion Post 52. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ila Mae Cook Gill on January 5, 1998, two sisters, Betty Landers and Virginia Paul and two brothers, Joseph and Charles Gill.

Surviving are his children, Donald (Kathy) Gill of Moundsville, West Virginia, Connie Yocum of Barnesville, Ohio, Brenda (Martin) Steiner, Diana Sue Butler and Roger Gill and his companion, Anna Carter, and sister-in-law Nancy (Wayne) Weber all of Bellaire, Ohio. Also several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Don’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
