Dorothy Mae Tierney 91, of Martins Ferry, Ohio passed away December 18, 2019, at Mound View Health Care, Moundsville, WV.

Dorothy was born March 17, 1928, in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Joseph and Viola Trybuski Lesnick.

She was retired from the former Imperial Clevite, Lansing, OH, a graduate of St. Josephs Academy Wheeling, WV., and a member of St. Mary’s Church, Martins Ferry, OH

Preceding her in death was her husband, Harold Vincent Tierney, a brother, Thomas Lesnick and a sister, Ruth Biscan.

Surviving are sons, Michael (Denise) Tierney of Bethlehem, WV., and Kevin (Kim) Tierney of Martins Ferry, OH., a daughter, Kathy (Todd) Milhoan of Bridgeport, OH, a brother, Edward (Mary) Lesnick of St. Clairsville, OH and a sister-in-law, Rose Lesnick of Bridgeport, OH., 8 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from noon -4pm Sunday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be at 10 am Monday at St, Mary’s Catholic Church, 20 N.4th Street, Martins Ferry, OH with Fr. Thomas Marut as Celebrant.

Burial Follows at Holly Memorial Gardens.
