Douglas D. Davis, 78, of Shadyside, Ohio passed away of October 1, 2020 at his home.

He was born October 19, 1941 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Dearald D. and Virginia L Schoen Davis.

He was retired from the former Consolidated Energy Corporation #4 Mine, was a 1959 graduate of Shadyside High School,
a member of the Centerville Senior Center, American Legion Post 521 Shadyside, OH, attended the Old Wegee United Methodist Church,
and was an Army Veteran.

Doug’s pastime included playing guitar, singing country music and camping throughout the country.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Philip (Beth) Davis, and a sister, Daviette (Phil) Robinson.

Surviving is a sister, Joyce Varvarosky and her husband Jerry of Shadyside ,several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Private services were held at Powhatan Cemetery.

Arrangements by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, Shadyside, OH.
