Earl Jones, age 61 of Bellaire, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

He was born April 10, 1954 a son of Beulah Workman Jones and the late John L. Jones.

Earl was a Pentecostal by faith. He was a coal miner and spent years as a roofer.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman with a great love for the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Jones on December 13, 1988.

Surviving are his mother, Beulah Jones of Bellaire, Ohio, two sisters, Charlene Griffin of Moundsville, West Virginia and Tammy (John) Roskovich of Bellaire and two brothers, Arthur (Carol) Jones of Lafferty, Ohio and Ronald Jones of Bellaire, Ohio. Also five nephews, three nieces and several great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Friday from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday from 11 am until time of services at 2 pm with Rev. James Hoff officiating. Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
