Eleanor J. Johnson, 86, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at her home.
She was born March 18, 1935, in Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late Sam and Mary Palombi Pestella.
Eleanor was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellaire, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Johnson, on June 7, 2012, and three brothers, Tony, Jimmy and Joseph Pestella.
Surviving are her daughters, Jo Lee (Dan) Ramsay of Bellaire, Ohio and Shawn (John) Tomlan of St. Clairsville, Ohio. Also four grandchildren, Mark (Carrie) Ramsay, Krista (Ryan) Ruthers, Lindsey (Ryan) Ralston and Christopher (Kristen) Tomlan and great grandchildren, Bryce Ramsay, Bradie Ramsay, Tate Ruthers, Ellie Ruthers, Henry Ralston, Caroline Ralston, Edeline Tomlan and one on the way.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Thursday from 3 to 7 pm and Friday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am with Rev. Ian Thornton officiating. Interment in the Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
