Forest “Mike” Campbell, 83 of Bellaire, Ohio died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Rolling Hills Care Center in Bridgeport, Ohio.
He was born June 2, 1933 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late John B. and Annie Parker Campbell.
Mike was a retired Chief Aviation Electricians Mate with the US Navy with 30 years of service; a member of the VFW Post 626, American Legion Post 52 and the Eagles FOE 371 all of Bellaire, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Moody Campbell, one son, Randy L. Campbell, six brothers, Henry, Carl, Lawrence, Albert, Basil “Jake” and Jimmy Campbell and five sisters, Beatrice Wallett, Jessie McMahon, Mary Campbell, Loretta Beatty and Katie Allison.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley E. Campbell, whom he married on July 16, 2016; two sons, Michael A. Campbell and Mark W. Campbell and his sister, Barbara (Jim) Russell of Bellaire, Ohio. Also several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at the Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum on Monday at 1 pm with Rev. Randy Weaver officiating followed by Full Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veteran’s Association.
