George H. Loker, 94, of Shadyside, OH died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Country Club Retirement Campus, Bellaire, OH. He was born June 6, 1923 in Baltimore, MD a son of the late Charles and Mary Gladys Small Loker.
George was a retired AEP employee of the former R.E Burger Power Plant, a member of St. John Catholic Church, Shadyside American Legion Post 521 and proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three wives, Louise McCloud Loker, Theresa Vavra Davis- Loker and Betty Day-Loker; a step-son, John Davis; a sister, Evelyn.
Surviving are step-children, Bill (Sally) Davis of Westerville, OH., Ken (Sharon) Davis of Reynoldsburg, OH., Cel (Rick) Schneid of Wheeling, WV., Mary Ann (Scott) Wolf of Columbus, OH., Jim Day of Chester, MD., and Sandy (Ray) McCoy of Sewickley, PA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 12 pm until time of funeral service at 2 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 with Fr. Dan Heusel as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association at the cemetery.

My sincere sympathy for George's family. He was my first supervisor when I hired in at Kammer plant in 1983. George was always a gentleman. I think he had worked at Tidd plant in Brilliant and knew my aunt who also had high regard for George. May God comfort you and I will keep you in prayers.
