Wendi, Chad, Carri & Toni, my heart and prayers are with you all; today & always. I hope you find comfort knowing how loved Jake and all of you are. Rest peacefully sweet Angel.
Toni, Wendi, Chad and Carri you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you process the loss of Jake. No amount of time; no amount of thinking you are prepared to say goodbye; no amount of what you believed to be stored up strength eases your pain right now. I’ve read all of Jake’s letters from the past few months a hundred times since his passing and I hope you know how much he loved and cherished you all! Toni he told me in every letter several times that you were his Saint, and you were! Please hold all of the wonderful memories close to your heart and know that Jake was ready to be with our Lord.
Jake was a good man; a funny man; an amazing story teller; a proud man and he loved his family beyond and above all else! My life and my family’s lives are so Blessed by simply knowing him. His memory will always be with us and Ed will ALWAYS cherish their bond and friendship over sports and collecting.
Please know that I wish more than anything that I could be with you right now but all are in my heart, tears, thoughts and prayers and I love you.
God has certainly welcomed a wonderful angel.
