Irene Lundin, 95 of Wheeling, WV went home to her Lord and Savior on July 20, 2018, at Country Club Retirement Campus in Bellaire, Ohio.
She was born October 24, 1922, the youngest of two girls in Asheville N. Carolina to George and Esther Stevens.
As a young girl, she traveled with her family to Newfoundland for a time eventually returning to the United States.
After college, Irene Studied nursing at the Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA.
On August 28, 1958, she married Ernest Lundin, the love of her life and spent many wonderful years with him.
Irene with her husband Ernest raised his two children from a previous marriage, Kathleen and Lynn.
At her husband’s side an SDA Minister they moved from Nebraska to Iowa and finally settled in Wheeling, WV.
In 1968 they were blessed with a second daughter Lori.
Irene taught nursing at Ohio Valley General Hospital.
After Retiring they enjoyed traveling and kept busy with hobbies, church, and family.
Irene’s father preceded her at a young age. Her mother and beloved husband Ernest also preceded her.
Irene is survived by her three children, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
