Jack H. Waugaman, 80, of Powhatan Point, OH died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Shadyside Care Center. He was born May 7, 1936 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Jack and Mary Phillips Waugaman.
Jack was a retired X-ray technician at the Powhatan Clinic, a former coal miner at North American Coal Company’s No. 4 mine; a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Moriah Lodge # 105 F & AM, Shrine, and Powhatan V.F.W.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Mary Margaret Waugaman in 2005; a sister, Shirley Vanchure.
Surviving are a daughter Meralin Sullivan; two sons, Pete (Maurica) Waugaman and Joe (Stepheny) Waugaman; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Tuesday from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, OH 43942. Burial in Powhatan Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
