Connors, James “Banjo” 81, of Bellaire, Ohio died October 17, 2015.
He was born May 9, 1934 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Patrick and Mary Joyce Connors.
He was retired from Weirton Steel Corporation and a member of St John Catholic Church, Bellaire, OH.
Preceding him in death were three sons, James G. Connors II, John B. Connors and Dr. Steven E. Connors, his siblings; Patrick, Coley, Terrance, Thomas Connors, Patty Jean Connors, Bridget Dobrovich, Cecelia Magliozzi, and infant siblings, Martin, Laurence and Angel Connors.
Surviving is a son, Charles Connors of Bellaire and a grandson, Landon James Connors, of Georgia, three brothers, Charles (Doris) Connors of Bellaire, Michael and Danny Connors both of Barnesville, OH, three sisters, Mary Weaver of Stanley VA, Barbara Carrigan of Lancaster, OH and Nora (Woody) Perry of Bellaire, OH.
Family and friends will be received 2-8pm Thursday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be at 10am Friday in St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire, OH with Father Daniel Heusel officiating.
Interment follows in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.

I know no one will read this. Its August of 2020. I just found out Jim died. I worked off and on for him for over 20 years and can say he was a good man and was really good at what he did. He taught me a lot as he did anyone who worked around and for him. I never did but I wish I had said thank you to him for the kindnesses he showed me..Maybe Ill get a chance to tell him later.
