James David Brian Hornbeck, 57 of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday October 16, 2015 at his home.
He was born July 5, 1958 a son of the late Thomas and Grace (Duffey) Hornbeck in Bellaire, Ohio.
James was a coal miner working for the North American Coal Corp. He was also a handyman and loved helping people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother George “Kenny” Hornbeck and an infant son Joshua Hornbeck.
He is survived by his children, Chad (Hayley) Hornbeck of Lafferty, Ohio, Christy (Steve) Hornbeck of Lafferty, Ohio and Eric (Mandy) Hornbeck of Bellaire, Ohio. He is also survived by his siblings, Cheryl Hornbeck of Bellaire, Ohio, Pamela (Robert) Cruise of Alledonia, Ohio, Shelly (Danny) Otto of Bellaire, Ohio, Melanie (Charlie) Meadows of Jacobsburg, Ohio, Thomas (Margaret) Hornbeck of St. Petersburg, FL and Craig (Colleen) Hornbeck of Bethesda, Ohio as well as four grand children and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services at Greenwood Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio on Monday October 19, 2015 at 2 pm with Chaplain Charlie Steadman Officiating.
A lunch will be held afterwards at the VFW in Bellaire, Ohio.
