James Cecil "Jim" Mann

August 14, 1957 - March 14, 2022

James “Jim” Mann, 64, of Shadyside, Ohio died Monday March 14, 2022.

He was born August 14, 1957 in Wheeling WV, a son of the late William “Bill” Edwin Mann and June Caroline (Gamble) Mann.

Jim was a Christian by faith and retired as a painter for Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his uncles; Dale Mann and Ronnie (Betty Jo) Mann.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Fortner) Mann, two step-sons; Bryan (Jessica) Fortner and Dustin (Ashley) Fortner, two brothers; Bill (Lynette) Mann and John (Jenni) Mann, three sisters; Janet Corey, Nancy (Mike) O’Donnell and Susan (Steve) Schmelick, three step-grandchildren; Mya, Willow, and Gunner Fortner, Cousins; Tara (Rob) Beiswenger, Mark Mann and Tim Mann, and a special person; Jenny VanCuren, sister-in-law; Betty (Steve) Fluharty, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place Saturday April 2, 2022 at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, Ohio from 12noon -2pm.

Inurnment will be at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
