Jane M. Nichols 93, of Salem, VA, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio died July 9, 2017, at her home.
Jane was born April 28, 1924, in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Cecil and Elizabeth Schoeppner Mobley.
She was a member of the Bellaire Christian Church, DAV Post 117 Auxiliary, the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Order of Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls where she received the Cross of Colors.
She and her late husband Lloyd were active in the Boy Scouts of America where she received the Silver Fawn Award.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Lloyd E. Nichols in 1997, a son Thomas C. Nichols in 2017, and a brother, Howard Mobley.
Surviving is a daughter, Karen (Mike) Skoff of Salem, VA, two sons, David Nichols of Wytheville VA and Terry (Susan) Nichols of Sun City, FL. A daughter-in-law, Vickey Nichols of Wytheville, VA, 4 Grandchildren, Terry Nichols Jr., Alysha Nichols, Chasity Nichols and Elizabeth Skoff, 4 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Luke, Evan, and Catherine.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday with Pastor Jerry Garloch officiating Burial at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.

Aunt Jane was the best. When I was a child visiting with my parents, we always stayed up late playing double solitaire. Have many great memories with aunt Jane and uncle Lloyd. Love to the family.
