I met Janis when we were just teenagers at the Bellaire pool. She threw some water on me while I was getting some sun. we became instantly attacted to each other. she became ny first girlfriend. we dated that summer and became friends all our lives. she was a warm and loving person. I will always remember that special summer at the Bellaire pool of 1966. May GOD carry you on His wings until we meet again.

You and I always shared a birthday back in the day before you moved away. I remember your visits at our house and talking with my Mom for hours on end. I also remember when you moved to the Carolina’s to teach and further your career. I wish you eternal peace you will be missed.

Janis was a dear friend whom I knew all my life. I was at her side praying for her recovery from recent health issues, but God released her from her anguish by bringing her home to be with her parents and loved ones. Heaven has a new angel, and a star to shine down on those of us who knew her in life. May we be worthy enough to be with her when our time comes.
