Julie Ann Bogetich, 93 of Virginia Beach, VA died Friday April 27, 2018 at Beth Shalom Village in Virginia Beach.
Formerly of Bellaire, Ohio she was born on November 28, 1924 a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Kurtiko) Uchanski in Wheeling, WV.
Julie was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
She was married to Melvin J. Bogetich on June 21, 1947 and they spent many wonderful years together sharing their love of dancing.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her siblings, Joseph and Victor Uchanski, Sophie Adelman, Nellie Nagy and Mildred Andlinger.
She is survived by her children, Lynn (Ronnie) Rouse of Crestview, FL, Janice (Chip) Carte of Chesapeake, VA, Melanie DuFaud of Colorado Springs, CO, and Michelle Price of Bridgeport, OH.
In addition she is survived by a sister, Franny Ryan of New Jersey, nine grandchildren, Tonya Barnett, Jamie and Christopher Garner, Brent and Ashley Carte, Cameron, Haleigh and Colton DuFaud and Garrett Price, as well as five great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Taylor Barnett, Savanna, Austin and Landon Garner and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th Street in Bellaire, Ohio on Friday May 4, 2018 from 11 am until time of funeral liturgy with Mass at 12 pm at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Wheeling, WV.
