To Kelly’s family: I just cannot find the words.... I am in shock and so deeply saddened. Kelly was such an amazing person to work with and so glad I had the chance to get to know her. I loved our Wednesday snack days at work, sharing her recipes and I will cherish our food talks. I’ll always remember Kellys’ Fig’s lunch order ...mushroom ravioli with vodka sauce (lol), her hilarious scooter stories and wrecks! Our talks about traveling and running a bed and breakfast. Kelly was truly one of a kind and will be missed terribly by her Medicare team. Kelly I know you are pain free now and running around in Heaven without that boot and scooter! Love you! Your friend and coworker Lori (Bertus) Whaley

I am so so sorry to hear of Kelly’s passing. I enjoyed many laughs with her at work! She shared her love of cooking and baking with us. She loved Dwyer fiercely and had his picture up on her desk. I never forget the time she scared the crap out of me and everyone heard her but me, her laugh was contagious! She told stories of her time in Cape Cod. She will be missed at work. I’ve been blessed to have her not only as a coworker but as a friend too. She will be missed.

Kelly was a wonderful, kind and funny person with a heart of gold. We worked together at a small KY college 20+ years ago. I remember us going together to a work conference in DC in 2003. We had a blast! Never a dull moment. Soar with the angels, my friend.
