Kenneth L. Beck, 69, of Shadyside, OH died peacefully Monday, October 19, 2015 at Liza’s Place of Valley Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born August 15, 1946 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Francis and Zelda Burns Beck.
Ken was a retired employee of MIBA Bearing Company of Mc Connellsville, OH and an avid fan of OSU, Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins and enjoyed working Sudoku puzzles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Andrea Forgacs Beck.
Surviving are his loving wife of 41 years, Opal E. Smith Beck; sons, Michael (Breanna) Beck and Christopher Beck all of Shadyside; brothers, Ronald (Lois) Beck of Columbia, SC., Gary (Anne) Beck of Winter Springs, FL., and James Beck of Dublin, OH; sisters, Janis Beck of Pataskala, OH and Vivian (John) Harris of Rayland, OH; an aunt, Romona (Joe) Banaski of Columbus, OH and his special pet dog, Koda.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 pm and again on Thursday from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside with Rev. David Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH

To Opal and Family, My condolence in Ken's Death. My God grant you peace in your time of sorry, knowing that he is in the loving arms of our Lord and no longer in pain. Knowing that Families are forever and reunited again one day.
