Linda Carol Di Nardo passed away on February 26, 2019 in Arlington, Virginia after a battle with a powerful pneumonia.
Linda was born in and was a resident of Bellaire, and later Shadyside until moving to Columbus where she worked as a research assistant at The Ohio State University Hospital.
She left OSU to become a student at Smith College in Massachusetts – spending one year of study in Italy, which she dearly loved and obtained a degree in Political Science and ESL. Returning, Virginia became her home, teaching science and ESL to people from around the world.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Sue Di Nardo and is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Ron Yaros, niece, Amy (Paul), nephew, Andrew (Heather) and seven (Andrew, Mathew, Francesca, Paloma, Trevor, Eric & Alex) adoring nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many loving friends.
Linda chose to be cremated and laid to rest at the mausoleum site of her family – these requests, being granted with love.
If desired, a donation in Linda’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Auntie, Linda, dear friend, with your beautiful smile & loving heart we will love you forever.

Dear Gloria and family,. I am so sorry for your loss. I truly loved Linda as a sister and will miss our regular chats keeping each other updated on our families. I have fond memories of us being roommates at Mrs Raders, the bridal shower she gave, the trip to your mom and dad's, what a great cook Sue was and what a great lady she was. It will be 50 years this July that Linda brought me home from school to startmy career.I will always cherish times we have visited over the years. I will miss our conversations as she always made me laugh. She truly loved you all and spoke so fondly of her nieces and nephews. My biggest regret is that I didn't get to see her one last time.
