Linda Marlene Steed Strussion, 71 of Bellaire, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.
She was born October 9, 1946 in New Martinsville, West Virginia a daughter of the late William Case Steed and Mildred Trembly Steed Miller.
Linda was a member of the St John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio, she was a 1964 graduate and salutatorian of her Bellaire High School class. She enjoyed working beside her husband in the family business, Strussion & Son Florist.
Linda was a loving and caring person, the heart of her family, who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Amy Jo Strussion.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-one years, Tom Strussion; three children, Tom (Angela) Strussion of Arlington, Texas, Chris Strussion of Bellaire, Ohio and Lisa (Chris) Balog of Bellaire, Ohio, her sister, Deborah (Lanny) Sitar of Bellaire, Ohio. Also five grandchildren, Brooke (Jim) Balsei, Taylor (Charles) Colvin both of Columbus, Ohio, Rocco, Lindsay and Cassie Balog all of Bellaire, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at the St. John Catholic Church Bellaire on Tuesday at 10 am with Fr. Daniel Heusel, as Celebrant.

Tom and Family, We are deeply saddened by the loss of Linda, while remembering all the great times we've spent together laughing and having fun. We'll all miss her dearly.
