Because Margaret was related to me on the 'Kirkland' side of the family, I was able to visit with her several times and hear her stories. My father was Wallace Kirkland, and my grandfather and grandmother, Dr. Wallace and Ona Jebb Kirkland. Margaret was such a kind person, and her interest and memory of details of family history made my visits with her enjoyable. She was remarkable in her determination to maintain her independence, and I feel blessed that we were able to visit as she worked on the 'Kirkland' side of the family. Thoughts of kindness to her family.
