Margaret “Margie” Scott 81, of Shadyside, Ohio died Saturday May 11, 2019 at Continuing Care of Shadyside.

She was born May 28 1937 a daughter of the late Foster and Margaret (Fodor) Johnson in Aetnaville, Ohio.

Margie was a member of the St. Frances Society, the Catholic Womens Club, the Over 50 Club and the Catholic Daughters.

She also volunteered at the Living Bread Kitchen in Bellaire, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Ernest Scott.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years. Arrond “Ernie” Scott, daughters Darlene (Doug) West of Lancaster, Ohio and Cathy Scott of McMechan, WV.

In addition she is survived by a sister Evelyn Jane Scartz of Florida, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906 on Wednesday May 15, 2019 from 10 am until time of Mass at 1 pm at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating.

Burial will follow at Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.
