I was contacted by a former Wheeling Area radio personality today that Marie had died. I was amazed to find out she lived until the age of 97! Thank God you had all those years to enjoy having your mom around. I remember Marie being excited that our WOMP Boys basketball team was playing against her son Ken and the Shadyside Faculty. I also remember her being proud of our comments that she had a very pretty daughter. I watched the video tribute and you are still one very pretty lady Patsy. Your mom was always very kind to me and the other young immature rock n' rollers at WOMP-FM. I remember her being blessed by a letter I sent her years ago when my life completely turned around. We then had a wonderful conversation and was the last contact I had with Marie. This is Joey Dee although I have been Pastor Joe for many years now. I believe Marie knew that I ended up in the ministry. Who would have believed it? I extend condolences to you Patsy and Ken and pray that the Lord will extend His peace, comfort and love to you.
