BROWN, Marjorie “Margie” J., 72, of Wheeling, W.Va. passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at home.

She was born July 15, 1947 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a daughter of the late Arthur and Clare Jobb Nelms. She was a former employee of K Mart and Kroger.

She is survived by her loving husband, Elmer C. Brown; one son, David (Jennifer) Brown of Powhatan Point, Ohio; one daughter, Diane (David) Amend of Wheeling; two brothers, Joe Nelms of Powhatan Point, and Tom (Dianne) Nelms of Powhatan Point; one sister, Jacki (Dennis) Knight of Powhatan Point; four grandchildren, Lyndsee Wharton, Courtney Amend, Makenzie Amend, and Cade Brown; three great grandchildren, Landyn Caldwell, Lakyn Caldwell, and Lexen Caldwell.

Friends will be received on Friday, August 2, 2019, from 4-7 pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, Powhatan Point Chapel, 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Dan Heusel officiating. Interment will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
