Mary M. Ward, 87 of Shadyside, Ohio died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her home.
She was born February 4, 1932 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Owen L. and Elizabeth Durant Campbell.
Mary was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shadyside, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Lee Ward, two grandsons, Eric H. Wheeler and Jacob Warner and her son-in-law, Steve Warner, two sisters, Betty Lee Gentile and Judith J. Ferrel and her brother, Owen L. Campbell, Jr..
Surviving is her husband, Donald Ward, who she married on January 29, 1949 in the South Bellaire United Methodist Church, her children, Tracy D. Warner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Donald (Debbie) Ward of Shadyside, Ohio and Michael Ward of Columbus, Ohio, three sisters, Owena Liberati of Aberdeen, Maryland, Patricia Smith of McMechen, West Virginia. and Nancy Wojcik in North Carolina. Also three grandchildren, Leslie Ward, Mike Warner and Owen Ward, great grandson, Parker Winland and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Althmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Friday from 10 am until time of services at 1 pm with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating.
Entombment in the Mt. Calvary Garden Mausoleum in Wheeling, West Virginia.
