Mildred J. Parker, 95, of Shadyside, OH died Friday, September 18, 2020 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born October 28, 1924 in Leewood, WV a daughter of the late William and Dreama Russell Clendenin.

Mildred was retired from Wheeling National Bank and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Shadyside.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Parker in 1998; two sisters, Dorothy Haught and Virginia Florence; two brothers, William and Donald Clendenin.

Surviving are a son, Jack W. (Jennifer) Parker of Shadyside; one granddaughter, Justeena (Jon) Ricciardi; two great-grandchildren, Ava Ricciardi and Parker Ricciardi.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH 43947 with funeral services on Wednesday at 11 am with Rev. David Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.

Jennifer and Jack, My deepest sympathy. Your mom was a wonderful Sunday School teacher and friend. I always enjoyed talking with her when I visited church with my mom.

Jack, I was very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a wonderful, sweet lady, and such a good friend to me and my family. She was one of my first Sunday School Teachers, and a pillar of our Church and Community. You and your family have my prayers in this difficult time. God Bless !
