I first met Phil when I was a Fresman in the band at St. John Central High School. Phil was in charge of the Color Guard. He considered the job of carrying the Flag in front of our band to be a true privilege and honor and he did it with the greatest respect. He truly loved his country and could not wait to serve it. It was at St. John that he met the love of his life, Susan Kittle.
Phil loved his country, his wife and his family. May he rest in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.
