Richard Edward “Ed” Klempa, 62, of Yorkville passed away December 4, 2020 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, OH.
Ed was born on February 13, 1958 in Bellaire Ohio, the only son of Richard and Sarah E. (Harris) Klempa.
He was a graduate of Bellaire, High School class of 1976. Ed was a member of St. Josephás Parish in Tiltonsville and was employed as an electrical technician for Ohio Coatings Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Klempa.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Lori Ann Klempa (Leoni); his mother, Sarah; a son, Rick Klempa; a stepdaughter, Brooke; Daddy’s Girl, Elora; mother and father in-law, Robert and Nancy Leoni, brothers-in-law, Chris (Amy) Leoni and Dino (Darcy) Leoni; two nieces, Lauren and Alayna Leoni; and one nephew, Domenic Leoni; his faithful canine companion, Millie; and a host of cousins and friends.
Ed was a devoted husband, son, father and friend who will be missed by all.
Private services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020, which have been arranged by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facial coverings and social distancing are required.

Ed was to young to be taken away. He was a good father to Ricky, and we will miss him dearly. He will be missed by all. RIP Ed.
Sorry to hear about Ed we grew up together on noble street we always went to Ed’s house on Christmas morning to play with all the toys he got for Christmas he got all the toys we did not get.He was a life long friend and will be missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Eddie Klempa. We went to school together K-12. Although I hadn’t seen Eddie in many years, I always remembered him as a nice kid. RIP!
