Roger W. Myers, 60 of Galloway, Ohio died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his family.

He was born June 2, 1958 in Wheeling, West Virginia son of the late William B. and Treva M. DeLong Myers.

Roger was a retired math teacher and football coach for the Bridgeport City Schools and a member of the Cypress Church Alton-Darby Campus in Galloway, Ohio.

He was a graduate of Shadyside High School, Class of 1976, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Capitol University and his Master’s Degree from the University of Dayton. Roger was an avid golfer, he loved his grandchildren, sports and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Grover Myers, his children, Derek (Jessie) Myers of Galloway, Ohio, Matthew (Melissa) Adams of West Jefferson, Ohio, Katlyn (Nevin) Martin of Tiffin, Ohio, Cody (Rachel) Myers of Tiffin, Ohio and Brian (Kelly) Adams of Powell, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Trevor Myers, Ava Myers, Hadley Martin, Gunner Adams, Hailey Adams,Lexi Adams and many close friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on Friday from Noon until time of services at 7 pm with Reverend Thomas Jones officiating.
