Shirley Ann Roman 81, of Shadyside, Ohio died Tuesday August 7, 2018 in Shadyside, supported by her loving family.

Shirley was born March 5, 1937 in Bellaire,OH, a daughter of the late Rudolph L.and Bessie E. Santavicca Nemec.
she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Basil Roman.

Surviving are three daughters, Cathy (Harry) Mowder of St. Clairsville, OH, Cindy Flanagan (Mark Derosa) and Crystal Santore (Jamie Bernhard) both of Shadyside, OH, a son, Charles “Dale” (Wendy) Roman of Bellaire, OH, a brother, Joseph Nemec of Shadyside, OH, two grandchildren, Kyle (Amanda) Greenlee and an expected great grandchild , Haygen Mowder (Ryan Holmes) and her cat, “Ms. Noel”. Shirley was always on the go. She loved riding motorcycles and driving her golf cart to the Tiger Pub, Shadyside Marina, and around the town. She enjoyed attending festivals, having a margarita ,and feeding the birds. Most all all she enjoyed time spent with her family and ” runnin with her girls !”

Family and friends will be received Thursday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio for a memorial visitation from 3pm until time of memorial service at 6pm with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating.

Immediately following the service please join Shirley and the family at the Tiger Pub for a celebration of her life
